A  balance between historic preservation and modern landscape design.

Mulberry Court

Hampton Wick

Located at the heart of Hampton Wick, a short walk from the River Thames, Mulberry Court is a new development of apartments for independent retirement living. The scheme is a careful balance between historic preservation and modern landscape design.

The retained historic walls define a sequence of discrete and connected garden rooms. Each of these spaces, whilst connected, is envisaged as its own garden with its own distinct character and are thoughtfully designed with areas for quiet relaxation, socialising and outdoor dining.  The scheme also includes a kitchen garden for owners to grow their own produce.

The sensitive design approach has resulted in a series of unique garden spaces that reflects the quality of an historic garden setting, whilst protecting existing trees and maintaining the integrity of the conservation area in where the site is located.
