Exterior Architecture (ExA) is an award-winning team of creative and innovative Landscape Architects in the United Kingdom. Our practice is growing as we continue to take on a diverse range of projects across the UK and internationally; including master planning, public realm, green spaces and infrastructure, mixed use and residential developments, leisure, and resorts.

Graduate Landscape Architect

We're looking for creative and motivated graduates (or final-year students) with a qualification in Landscape Architecture. You’ll bring a passion for design, strong visual and written communication skills, and a desire to grow within a supportive team.

Landscape Architect

You’re a qualified Landscape Architect with experience across RIBA work stages. You’ll contribute design skills, technical confidence, and strong collaboration skills.

Preferred experience:

  • Working knowledge of BIM

  • Construction detailing and technical design delivery

  • A clear passion for thoughtful, sustainable landscapes

Associate (CMLI)

  • 8-10+ years industry experience  

  • A Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI)

  • Demonstrate proven experience in leading teams, resourcing and meeting invoicing targets 

 In the role you will:

  • Lead and support project teams, ensuring exceptional design and technical development and delivery of projects

  • Manage project planning, resource allocation and financial oversight

  • Oversee client engagement, proposals and bids

  • Drive business development and contribute to strategic growth

  • Mentor and support junior staff, fostering career development

  • Represent Exterior Architecture at industry events and conferences

  • Have excellent career progression opportunities in an Employee-Owned company
