700-acre science and technology campus in Oxfordshire

Harwell Quads

The Harwell Quad, captures the tradition and sophistication of the historic oxford quads, and modernises these into liveable, habitable and biodiverse spaces that cater for the needs of a modern science campus.  The symbolistic quad lawn provides a platform for a range of social activities of various scales, activating the space and bringing life and vibrancy into one of the Campus’ main social hubs.  On the fringes a series of smaller gather spaces allows a range of other activities including outside working, meetings, play and socialising.

Oxfordshire

A diversity of tree species and climate resistant gardens underpin the scheme’s positive biodiversity credentials and showcase how to design for a changing climate.
