EA have been working with Countryside Properties and PTE Architects to regenerate a 1950’s housing estate, located in one of London’s most deprived areas, into a modern and functional new urban location.

The project, won through competition, proposes a network of new green spaces which are safe, pleasant, community focused and aim to create a vibrant and exciting public realm for local residents. The design mixes traditional high street aspirations with community functions by creating a range of funky and enjoyable play equipment in a regenerated high street context. The proposals integrate a rich diversity of ecology and green infrastructure elements to bring a strong natural feel to the whole estate.

This week, London Borough of Enfield granted approval for a hybrid planning application which covers the site masterplan and phase 1 proposals.

Well done to the whole team! We can’t wait to get started on the next phase!
