NEW ZEALAND NATIVE PLANTS   The proposal developed by ExA won 1st place in an international design competition for the redesign of the largest collection of New Zealand native plants outside New Zealand.

SAVILL GARDEN   Savill Garden is Britain’s finest ornamental green space. The New Zealand plant collection lies adjacent to a new visitors centre designed by Glen Howells Architects.

THE DESIGN  It is designed to accentuate the subtle range of colour and textures associate with New Zealand’s unique flora collection.  Species are grouped to form strong blocks of floral and foliage colour and accentuated with some of the striking vertical forms found in New Zealand flora. ExA developed conceptual and detailed design proposals with the Crown Estate design team and provided the detailed planting guidance for the installation of the scheme.
