Within one of Britain's finest ornamental garden, EA won an international design competition for the redesign of the largest collection of New Zealand native plants outside NZ. The garden exists adjacent to a new visitor’s centre designed by Glen Howells Architects and accentuates the subtle range of colour and textures associate with New Zealand’s unique flora collection. Species are grouped to form strong blocks of floral and foliage colour and uses some striking vertical forms found in New Zealand flora. EA developed conceptual and detailed design proposals with the Crown Estate design team and provided the detailed planting guidance for the installation of the scheme.
