A show "fit for a queen", the rhs chelsea flower show

After completing a successful display garden for Oak Leaf Gates Ltd. in 2011, EA were re-commissioned to design and manage the installation of a new garden for 2012. The garden was designed to display the beauty of the timber element and the client was convinced to show replica miniature gates to enable a high quality space to be designed and create setting to entice people into the garden. The planting palette used an array of light purple and white flowering perennials set against dry stone walls of Scottish limestone and lime hedges. Larch panels were stained black/ grey to offset the planting colour and create a strong floral focus to the display. The garden was presented with an Award of Excellence by the RHS President. This award was only given to 4 gardens in 2012.
