Battersea Power Station Temporary Park

Battersea, London

Working alongside LDA Design, we produced a rich landscape for the temporary park at Battersea Power Station. The design concept showcased a variety of landscape planting typologies, including the very large Bucida buceras trees in the pavilion, demonstrating how plant communities can alter the appearance and character within the same scheme. This was achieved with the woodland walk, the rain garden and the Pavilion border.

The park hosted several events, including the 2nd year of the Chelsea Fringe Festival, with a myriad of events and activities throughout the summer. The pavilion was opened by David Cameron, Boris Johnson and the Malaysian Prime Minister in May 2013.
