The Exterior Architecture team is lead by two experienced directors and landscape architects, Sam Martin and Leighton Pace . The EA team has been hand picked based on their skills and abilities and each is involved in the evolution of various projects. Directors
Sam Martin MLA
Sam is Director and Principle Landscape Architect at Exterior Architecture. He is an extremely talented landscape architect at both the strategic and detailed levels . His work covers a variety of scales from 100 acre agricultural parks to high end podium and roof terraces. His client focused service has won many accolades and the share quantum of repeat business he has generated is testament to his level of skill, care and attention he brings to each project EA undertakes. Sam has a extensive interest in planting design and extensive floral knowledge which he applies to both urban and rural project typologies with great effect. He has won awards for garden design at Chelsea Flower Show and at the BALI awards.
Leighton Pace Bsc. (Botany) BLA (Hons)
Leighton is a Director of Exterior Architecture and brings a wealth of experience from working in a number of the UK's leading landscape architectural practices. His career has focused on delivering innovative design solutions for residential, park and public realm projects in the UK and internationally. Leighton is a talented designer and well organised practice director experienced in the conception, development and implementation landscape projects to the highest standards. He is an excellent communicator and has extensive experience in developing responsive and meaningful design solutions for complex urban landscape projects. He has lead large multi-disciplinarian design teams on complex landscape projects in the UK and abroad. He has extensive experience in delivering excellence in heritage and conservation projects and the work he undertakes at EA is underlined with a drive to deliver the detail behind sustainable, liveable and enjoyable spaces.
