URBAN INTEGRATION, MEMORABLE AND USABLE SPACES

Durable and high quality materials create a lasting space on the edge of this new development on the busy Edgware Road. Working closely and effectively with the architects, Sheppard Robson, the landscape was integrated into a number of building elements, including private residential gardens and semi-private spaces. The site provides 700 new jobs and offers places to work, live, shop and eat, via home zones and a play area, a network of steps and ramps and streetscape design. Careful and structural planting design assists in the natural navigation of the site to make a legible, readable landscape that effectively links private and public space. A clear materials palette also provides a distinct hierarchy of spaces whilst working to give a contemporary character fitting for a new urban development.
